Please helpHow to pull the headlight assembly out of a 2001 chevy cavailier to change it?http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/vehi When you open the hood on the 2001 cavalier you will notice a plastic panel that covers the top of the headlamps and goes the lenght of the front end.You need to remove this cover by pulling up the center of the clips used to hold this panel in place.Once you have removed the panel you will see the headlamps are held in place by two 13MM bolts.Remove the two bolts and pull the headlamp assy up and foreward.Look behind the assy and you will see how to remove the headlamp bulb and replace with a 9007 new bulb. Please be careful not to touch the new bulbs glass as this will cause the bulb to burn out quickley.Rule of thumb is to replace both front headlamp bulbs sence the other side will tend to go bad soon.Be sure to reinstall the front cover sence this helps engine cooling.Best of luck. How to pull the headlight assembly out of a 2001 chevy cavailier to change it?you dont need to pull it out on the back side of the head light there is a clip that twist and pulls out

no need to take out the whole headlightHow to pull the headlight assembly out of a 2001 chevy cavailier to change it?I have the same car, so I can help. I believe you have to take off the plastic guard under the hood first, then there should be a screw or 2, take them off, after that, you need to pull out the corner lens, it pulls away from the car sideways, but be careful, after that, the headlight lens should come out easy, just be careful when unscrewing the bulb retainer. How to pull the headlight assembly out of a 2001 chevy cavailier to change it?go to www.automobilerepaireasy.com
